Dear Parents  Carers

 I wanted to let you know that Jose McKay has been appointed as my replacement, some of you may have met him last night, if you didn’t meet him, he will be at classes training with me for the next couple of weeks before starting fully on Tuesday 18th April.  I would personally like to welcome Jose on board and I know he will do an amazing job!

Only a couple more classes until we break for Easter.  Our last class is Tuesday 28th March 2017.  We then return on Tuesday 18th April; with the exception of Dawn’s classes who will return on Tuesday 2nd May.

Adults for Dyslexia Meet up – 6.30 to 8.30 at Quaker House, 1a Jewell Road, E17 4QU

Our free monthly Adult Dyslexia Group meetings are on the last Tuesday of the month. Dates for 2017:  28 March.

Please can we remind children only to take a maximum of 2 biscuits, you could bring a small snack with them to eat in the reception area.

Information about George Mitchell School

Parking – Please park in Farmer Road, there may be room in the car park however due to the parking entrance not having a drop kerb if you park inside the school it is at your own liability .  Check you have not parked in a permit parking bay, see the map below. (I do not have any parking permits)

Entrance – via the Gate in Farmer Road, the entrance to the building will be sign posted.
Meet and Greet – I will be just inside the doors for you to ask questions, pay class fees etc.
Reception Area – There is still a reception area for parents/carers to wait for children with refreshments
Please can we ask Parents / Carers to remind children of their behaviour on the School premises particularly with the building work taking place on the premises.
