Class awards night

WFDA believes that no two learners are alike, and we place great importance on creating opportunities for students to learn in a variety of ways. To achieve this, our classes aim to provide the tools and strategies to enable students to help themselves to develop into independent lifelong learners. To be a successful student you need to not let adversity get in the way of your goals. If you fail a test or don’t understand something you try harder next time. All our students have shown this dedication every time they come to our classes on a Monday evening. That is why WFDA is proud to celebrate all of their achievements and congratulate them on how far they have come.

WFDA is not the only one that feels like that. Chris Robbins, Leader of the London Borough of Waltham Forest Council awarded the certificates. WFDA last met Cllr Robbins at the Council Love your Borough Award Ceremony where we won the 2014 Civic Award. Furthermore, we have been invited by the Council to be involved in the upcoming Local Offer which is to address the delivery of services for our community. Through Cllr Robbin’s directive the Council has donated £10 Amazon vouchers to each and every one of our students.
